Born into the planes like many others were Ayu lived a rather boring life up until her 14th birthday when a little crow began to visit her with many secrets. She listened to the crow everytime it came by learning something new about the world around her, how the nature spirits worked, the type of things animals thought, and how to protect it. 

Her constant travels into the nearby woods began to grow more and more accepted by her village, no one asked where she went or why anymore, as the story of the little crow girl filled the town tavern. 

It was on one of these very outings with the crow that she found her true master, a orc Shaman who showed her both the truth about what she had learned from the crow, who was infact him in a wild shaped form, and a magnificent blade! She was told this blade could protect everything if wielded by a righteous and kind soul who say nature not as a enemy, not as resources, but as a home to be protected as a equal. Ayu learned from this man, and saw in him a father she never had. 

She saw his sword natures wrath, and also its stillness. It all came crashing down when the Shaman was brutally murdered and his sword taken from her, it was her right to inherit it and use it for good and she will find it and the killers for they took not just a blade, but her home.
