Session 32

Emberhorn Minotaur

The PCs rest for a day or two, before descending into the Fane of the Eye. Waiting for them they find several cultists of Ogremoch. They defeat the villains, and interrogate one of their priests. 

He reveals that the four cults have forged some sort of alliance to summon the Elder Elemental Evil, an alien god called Tharizdun. They believe this entity will be the herald of their own elemental lords.

The party proceeds to an abandoned mine occupied by a few undead, and then they face Zegdar, the leader of a band of minotaurs devout to Imix, lord of fire.

The PCs are unfazed by these monstrosities, and they gain access to a room containing the ancient sarcophagus of a drow, probably a priest of Tharizdun.

Not far from this chamber, they find the Temple of the Elder Elemental Eye. Here the three remaining prophets of Elemental Evil are completing a ritual involving a human sacrifice. The party is too late to stop the ritual.

When the prophets take notice of the arrival of the PCS, two of them disappear, leaving behind Vanifer, the tiefling prophetess of fire, and her minions. The PCs get ready to do battle.
