| Gar Shatterkeel |
The party takes a short rest inside the temple, before resuming their hunt for the cultists. Inside the main chamber of the compound the find Gar Shatterkeel, the leader of the Crushing Wave Cult, surrounded by many minions. Gar is also the one that, several months before, sunk Zadas' ship, killing many of his friends.
The PCs fight a difficult battle, but eventually prevail. They retire to their boat to recover their strengths, and interrogate a surviving cultist. From her they learn of Thuluna Maah, a sea hag, second in command to Gar.
The party decides to return to the surface, rest for a night, and then go back to the temple to finish the job. They find Thuluna and her band of ogres and trolls, and kill them all. The Cult of the Crashing Wave is no more. The PCs gather what treasure they can find, and leave the temple once and for all.
