Session 5

The PCs inform the leader of the knights, Dame Ushien Stormbanner, of the danger posed by the river bandits. Dame Ushien agrees to grant the PCs two knights and a few squires to bring justice to the pirates.

The group travels to the village of Womford to cross the Dessarin river by means of a barge. At the local docks, they spot the River Maiden, the same ship they saw anchored at Rivergard Keep.

The PCs ask a bit around town, and they learn that the pirates are collecting "protection money" from the local shop owners. This is enough to trigger the knights into action.

The party approaches the bandits and request them to surrender their weapons and return the stolen money. When they refuse battle is joined, with the PCs rapidly subduing the pirate crew and taking possession of the River Maiden.
