The PCs spend part of the night wandering around the compound, to gauge the strength of the opposition. The day after they're awoken by one of the bandit's lieutenants: the leader of the gang wants to test the party's fighting power, thus they must fight a little band of thugs.
The battle goes in the party's favour, but things get out of hand. Zadas, in the throes of rage, starts to pummel bystanding guards who had nothing to do with the sparring match. Gack takes the opportunity to get out his bow, shooting deadly arrows.
The bandits realise the "friendly" match has turned into a riot, and call for help. Soon the courtyard is stormed by many thugs, intent on subduing the PCs. When all is said and done, Evral and Ayu are captured, Grahhszak surrenders, but Zadas and Gack manage to escape the keep.
